David Valdes (he/him) is a Cuban-American playwright and author. He’s written about family, race, and LGBTQ issues for the New York Times, Boston Globe, HuffPo, and many others. His nonfiction books include Homo Domesticus, A Little Fruitcake, The Rhinestone Sisterhood, and his Young Adult novels include Revengers and the forthcoming Spin Me Right Round (Bloomsbury 2021).
